A self-paced training programme with step-by-step video instructions that helps you improve your skiing on varied snow, without leaving your home resort.

Many skiers reach a point where the groomed runs feel comfortable and a little repetitive. You turn confidently, you keep up with friends, and yet the moment the snow changes, the technique that worked on the piste starts to fall apart. Deep snow grabs your skis, heavy crud throws you off balance, and bumps leave your legs burning after three turns.
The usual response is to ski more and hope. That helps with mileage, but it rarely fixes the habits that cause the problems in the first place. Without someone watching your movements, small errors in stance, balance and timing become automatic, and they are hard to spot on your own.
This programme is built for exactly that situation. It breaks off-piste technique into clear, trainable pieces and gives you a plan you can follow on your own, at the resort where you already ski. Each lesson shows a movement, explains why it works and gives you something specific to practise on your next day on the snow.
The goal is not to push you into terrain you are not ready for. It is to give you a technical base that makes varied conditions more manageable and more enjoyable, and to help you understand what you are doing and why.
Understand how balance and pressure change between firm, soft and heavy snow.
Use turn shapes and timing that suit the surface instead of fighting it.
Recognise crust, firn, crud and wet snow and anticipate how each one feels.
Look at the terrain and pick a path that matches your ability and energy.
Pace your effort so your legs still work in the afternoon.
Apply core principles of absorption and line to uneven ground.
Use simple video self-checks to find habits that hold you back.
Follow a structured self-training approach on your home hill.
Technique improves fastest when you work on one thing at a time. Rather than throwing a dozen tips at you, the programme isolates a single movement or decision in each lesson, shows it clearly on video, and then explains how to practise it on the slope.
Every lesson follows the same pattern. You see the movement demonstrated and broken down, you learn what usually goes wrong and why, and you receive a short practice task to take with you. The next day on the snow, you test one idea, notice the difference and build on it.
This approach borrows from several skiing disciplines, including piste carving, freestyle and mogul skiing, because off-piste skiing uses ideas from all of them. You learn which parts of your existing piste technique carry over and which need to change.
Because the programme is self-paced, you decide how quickly to move. Some people take a lesson per ski day, others work through a module before a trip. The structure supports both.

The programme is delivered online as a library of video lessons with step-by-step instructions. You can watch on a phone, tablet or computer, at home in the off-season or in the evening during a ski trip. There are no fixed class times, so you fit the training around your own schedule.
The modules follow a logical order, starting with the foundations of stance and balance and moving toward varied snow, uneven terrain and decision-making. You can follow them in sequence or return to a specific topic when a particular problem shows up on the slope.
The course focuses on technique and understanding rather than equipment or logistics. It does not replace in-person instruction, guiding or formal avalanche training. If you plan to ski in genuine backcountry terrain, treat this programme as a technical foundation and seek proper local safety training and guidance alongside it.
Six modules, each built around a clear technical theme. Work through them in order or jump to the topic you need most.

Every movement is shown and explained step by step.
Six modules arranged so each one builds on the last.
Specific things to try on your next day on snow.
Watch on a phone, tablet or computer.
No live sessions and no deadlines.
Come back to any lesson whenever you need it.
By the end you will have a clearer picture of how your body should work on different surfaces, and you will be able to tell when something in your skiing is off. Instead of guessing, you will know which piece of technique to practise and how.
On the slope, variable snow should feel less like a surprise and more like a set of conditions you recognise. You will read the surface earlier, choose your line more deliberately and spend your energy more evenly through the day.
Your home resort also changes. A familiar run with bumps, patches of soft snow and uneven surfaces becomes a training ground where you can work on specific skills, film yourself and see real progress from one session to the next.
There is no required schedule. Many learners watch one or two lessons a week and then practise them on the snow, but you can go faster or slower to suit your season.
You should already be able to ski groomed runs confidently. The programme builds from there and is not designed for first-time skiers.
Once your payment is complete, you receive access to the lessons through your account and can start straight away.
You can request a refund within 14 days of purchase if the course is not right for you.
The lessons are recorded videos with step-by-step instructions, supported by practice tasks you can take onto the slope.
Yes. The lessons stay in your account so you can return to them before each season or whenever you want to revisit a topic.
You only need your usual skiing equipment and access to a ski resort. A phone for filming your own skiing is helpful but optional.
No. The programme teaches skiing technique and decision-making basics. For terrain with real hazards, rely on proper local training, guiding and safety equipment.
