A self-paced programme for practitioners who want a reliable way to choose, frame and debrief metaphorical card exercises.

You may already own a metaphorical card deck, or you may have used cards in a few sessions and noticed how quickly they open up a conversation. The images help people say things they would otherwise circle around for weeks. But without a clear method, a card exercise can also feel vague, intrusive or difficult to close.
This programme is for practitioners who want more than a set of pretty pictures. It teaches you how to choose a deck for the client's question, set up the exercise safely, guide the client through the images and turn what emerges into a practical next step. The focus is on separation, relationships, money beliefs, fears and business or career themes.
The lessons are designed for psychologists, coaches, trainers and informed card enthusiasts. You will see how symbol cards, feeling cards, role cards and question cards can work together, and you will practise a repeatable frame that keeps the conversation focused on the client's own meaning.
You do not need to be a card expert to start. You do need a willingness to practise, to stay within your professional scope and to treat the cards as a tool for reflection rather than a shortcut to interpretation.
By the end of the programme, you will have a practical toolkit for five common themes.
Match the deck's imagery and card types to the question the client is actually bringing.
Explain the purpose, agree on boundaries and help the client stay in control of what they share.
Use symbol, feeling and role cards to explore family patterns without blame.
Help clients see needs, expectations and communication patterns between two people.
Work with the stories clients carry about earning, spending, saving and deserving.
Name what frightens the client, find resources in the deck and choose a manageable next step.
Map roles, stakeholders, obstacles and possible paths in a business or career question.
Close the exercise with clear questions that turn reflection into one realistic commitment.
Use simple card formats in training rooms and group sessions without losing structure.
The course uses a three-step frame: focus, spread and debrief. First you clarify the client's question and agree on what kind of exploration is useful. Then you choose a spread that fits the question, whether that is one card, a small constellation of symbols or a combination of symbol, feeling and role cards. Finally you debrief what the client noticed and connect it to a next step.
This frame protects both practitioner and client. It keeps the exercise from becoming a free-floating interpretation game, and it gives the client a clear place to stop. You will see demonstrations of the frame in different themes and then adapt it in your own practice assignments.

The programme is fully self-paced. Each module contains short recorded lessons, demonstration videos and written worksheets. You can pause, replay a demonstration and practise the exercise in your own time. There are no live sessions and no personal coaching calls, so you can work through the material at the pace that suits you.
The lessons are practical rather than theoretical. You will see how a practitioner introduces a deck, how to phrase an invitation, how to stay quiet while the client looks at the cards and how to debrief without pushing an interpretation. The worksheets give you space to plan your own sessions and reflect on what you would do differently.
You can study the modules in order or go directly to the theme you need most. The foundations module is recommended first because it sets the frame used throughout the rest of the programme. After payment you receive access to the learning account, where the lessons and downloadable materials are available.
Seven modules take you from the basic frame to topic-specific decks and integration into your practice.
Short, focused lessons and demonstrations that you can replay at any time.
Structured pages for planning exercises, noting observations and reflecting on practice.
A practical reference for matching deck themes and card types to client questions.
Simple templates for a single exercise, a full session and a group workshop.
Questions that help clients speak for themselves and turn insight into action.
Tasks that help you try the frame with peers or in supervised practice.
Study when it suits you, with no live attendance requirements.
If the programme is not right for you, you can request a refund within 14 days.

After the programme, you will have a repeatable way to bring cards into a conversation. You will know how to choose a deck, explain the exercise, guide the client through the images and close the work without leaving the client exposed or overwhelmed.
You will also have a clearer sense of scope. You will know when a card exercise is useful, when a different approach is needed and when to refer on. The topic modules give you starting points for separation, relationships, money beliefs, fears and business or career questions, but they are not fixed scripts. You will be able to adapt the frame to the person in front of you.
The aim is not to impress clients with cards. It is to help them hear themselves more clearly and leave with one next step they can actually take.
Most learners spend two to three hours per module, including the video lessons and the practice assignment. Because the programme is self-paced, you can spread it over several weeks or work through it more intensively.
Some familiarity with card decks is helpful, but the foundations module covers the basic frame, card types and boundaries. The course is designed for practitioners and informed enthusiasts rather than complete beginners looking for personal therapy.
