A video club covering BaZi, Qi Men Dun Jia, date selection and more, taught step by step from classical sources, even if you are starting from zero.

Chinese metaphysics attracts people for good reasons: it offers a structured way of looking at timing, character and circumstances. But anyone who has tried to learn it on their own knows the problem. Material is scattered across forums, short videos and loose translations, and every source seems to say something slightly different.
The result is often a pile of terms such as pillars, stars, palaces and gates, with no clear route from theory to actually reading a chart. Many learners also worry that they are studying a distorted, second-hand version of the tradition.
This programme takes the opposite approach. It is a club built around a large library of recorded lessons, based on classical Chinese sources studied directly rather than retold. Each idea is checked in practice, so the focus stays on what is useful when you sit down with a real chart.
The method is balanced and patient. It is designed to give practical skills even to people who currently know nothing about the subject, and to deepen the understanding of those who already have some experience.
Skills you build as you work through the library.
Understand the pillars and how they relate to one another.
See how stars change meaning in combinations, clashes and penalties.
Follow the logic of the system and the way its charts are built.
Use a structured technique for picking suitable days for plans.
Practise reading charts and layouts on real examples.
Move from isolated symbols to a coherent reading.
Learn the ideas of Chinese thought that the techniques grow from.
Get to know traditional ideas about food and seasons as a cultural subject.
Return to recordings as often as you need until the material settles.
The programme covers several connected traditions. BaZi, also known as Four Pillars, describes a person and their timing through four pairs of symbols. Qi Men Dun Jia is a classical system of charts used for analysing situations and timing. Date selection applies similar ideas to choosing the right moment for an undertaking.
Alongside these, the library touches on Chinese philosophy, traditional dietetics as a cultural subject, and the symbolic tradition of annual talismans. These subjects are presented as systems of thought and practice to be studied, not as guarantees of any outcome.
The teaching leans on texts in their original language, which have been translated in large number for the lessons. That gives you working material close to the source and helps avoid the mistakes that creep in through repeated retelling.

Lessons are recorded in advance in high-definition video with clear sound. You can watch them on any device, at any time and from anywhere in the world, and you can replay a lesson as many times as you like. There are no fixed class times that you can miss.
Learning is built around examples. Charts are analysed together in the recordings, so you see how a reading is built rather than only hearing the rules. A library of charts collected over the life of the project lets you compare cases and practise on varied material.
The club side adds a sense of community. Meetings on interesting topics and a network of like-minded learners give you people to compare notes with. Participation in these is optional, and the programme works fine as a self-paced library if you prefer to study alone.
Because the material is large, a sensible approach is to pick one system, such as BaZi, follow it through in order, and only then add the next. The outline below shows a suggested path.
A suggested study path through the library. Choose the order that suits you; beginners should start with the first two modules.

More than 800 hours of recorded lessons in high definition.
Charts analysed together so you can see the reasoning.
The most interesting cases collected over the life of the project.
Watch any lesson as many times as you need.
Study on a phone, tablet or computer, anywhere in the world.
Optional sessions for discussion and networking.
A balanced method that does not assume prior knowledge.
Once you have worked through the material, the vocabulary stops being a barrier. You can open a chart, recognise its structure and explain to yourself why a reading goes in a certain direction.
You will also have a method for approaching dates and decisions in an organised way, and a feel for the philosophy that holds these techniques together. If you keep practising on the example charts, your reading will become faster and more confident.
The recordings stay available, so you can return whenever you want to refresh a topic, try the next system or revisit an earlier chart with fresh eyes.
There is no fixed schedule. Many learners set aside two to four hours a week, but you can go faster or slower. The lessons are recorded, so you set the pace.
No. The method is designed to give practical skills to people who know nothing about Chinese metaphysics. If you already have experience, you can skip ahead to the topics you need.

No. Club meetings and networking are an optional extra. The programme works as a self-paced video library.
The course teaches classical systems as methods of analysis and reflection. It does not promise any particular outcome and is not a substitute for professional advice.
