Why getting dressed can feel so hard

Many of us own a full wardrobe and still feel we have nothing to wear. Some pieces looked wonderful in the shop and never work at home. Others make us look tired, and we cannot say why. Often the problem is not taste but a lack of a few basic facts about our own appearance.

Which shades flatter your skin, eyes and hair? Which cuts balance your proportions? Which haircut and hair colour fit the shape of your face? Without answers, shopping becomes trial and error, and an outfit that is fashionable on someone else can look wrong on you.

This course is a practical alphabet of personal style. It walks you through colour, cut, the portrait zone around your face, style types and the combining of styles. Each lesson explains the principle, shows how it works and gives you a task to apply it to yourself.

By the end you have more than inspiration. You have a clear idea of what suits you, a method for judging any new item, and a plan for the wardrobe you already own.

The method: learn the principle, then test it on yourself

Style advice often fails because it is general. This course reverses the order. Each lesson explains a principle, for example how contrast works in an appearance, and then asks you to look at your own features through that lens.

The first lessons deal with the objective facts of your appearance: colouring, figure and face. The later lessons move to the creative part, which is choosing a style direction and mixing styles with confidence. Facts first and creativity second means your choices rest on something solid.

Homework follows every lesson. The practical work is where the knowledge becomes yours, so we recommend doing each task before moving on.

How the course works

The course is a self-paced online programme of seven lessons. You study at your own speed, in whatever order of days and hours suits your week, and you can return to any lesson when you want to refresh a rule or check a detail.

Every lesson ends with a practical task. You complete these on your own, using your own photos, your own wardrobe and your own mirror. The tasks are the core of the course because they turn general principles into personal conclusions.

This is the self-study version of the programme. It gives you the lessons and their materials, and it does not include personal feedback on your tasks or individual consultations.

After the course

Afterwards you can say clearly which colours, cuts and hairstyles suit you, and why. Getting dressed becomes simpler because you have criteria instead of doubts.

You will also know your appearance type and the style directions that fit it, and you will have rules for blending styles into an outfit that feels modern.

Your wardrobe will be sorted, and a shopping list will tell you what to buy, so each new purchase supports a look you actually want. The aim is the feeling of knowing: this is me, and this is my style.

What format are the lessons in?

The course consists of self-paced online lessons with accompanying materials. Each lesson ends with a homework task.

Will the material stay available?

Yes. The lessons remain in your account, so you can revisit any of them whenever you want to review a rule.

This version of the course gives you the lessons and materials, and you complete the tasks yourself. It does not include personal feedback or consultations.

What is your refund policy?

You can request a refund within 14 days of purchase if the course is not what you expected.

Will this course teach me to work as a stylist?

It gives you a strong foundation in colour, cut and style, and it can help you decide whether styling is a direction you would like to explore. It is not a guarantee of any job or income.
